Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Guanequilca FC's Rutenio Cossio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mónico Pasenau during the 3rd minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Savier Serey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Poetry FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Savier Serey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutenio Cossio in the 15th minute of play forced Blue Poetry FC's goalkeeper Aurelius Macuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Antonio Pascual struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Aurelius Macuer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanequilca FC. Rutenio Cossio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Guanequilca FC booed when Blue Poetry FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricard Basanguren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Guanequilca FC's goalkeeper Amancio Frick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Aramayo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Savier Serey in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amancio Frick saved Guanequilca FC from getting behind. Carlos Aramayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Aramayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Savier Serey made the kick off in the second half. Rutenio Cossio might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelius Macuer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelius Macuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutenio Cossio, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Savier Serey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amancio Frick. Guanequilca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Savier Serey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Savier Serey in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amancio Frick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute Carlos Aramayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Frick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Savier Serey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mónico Pasenau got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 92 played minutes Guanequilca FC got a freekick which was hit by Mónico Pasenau. 5-0 became the score in the 94th minute when Carlos Aramayo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Blue Poetry FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guanequilca FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
