The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee ignored Guanequilca FC's protests and gave Julio Larrea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Guanequilca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Larrea to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Bascuñán took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amancio Frick. Guanequilca FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Andolín Lavanderos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Amancio Frick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvino Barreau took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Labbé. Jonatan Labbé dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Amancio Frick didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. 17 minutes into the match, Guanequilca FC's goalkeeper Amancio Frick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andolín Lavanderos. If Reces Montaner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amadeo Rivadeneira fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Andolín Lavanderos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Amancio Frick made a huge save. Guanequilca FC's Amancio Frick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Guanequilca FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andolín Lavanderos got free with Amancio Frick in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute Amadeo Rivadeneira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Labbé saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mónico Pasenau kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Guanequilca FC's Amadeo Rivadeneira got a free kick in the 30th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Rutenio Cossio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guanequilca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Don Jorge Unido CF™ the free kick. Rutenio Cossio kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Don Jorge Unido CF™'s Jonatan Bascuñán shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amancio Frick but with some difficulty. Amancio Frick was a little too slow when Reces Montaner got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-1. Andolín Lavandeross short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Amancio Frick to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 46 in the game by Andolín Lavanderos from a close distance when the talented Amancio Frick managed to make a qualified save. Guanequilca FC's players were relieved. José Antonio Echaiz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amancio Frick came out and tried to block the shot, but José Antonio Echaiz slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Don Jorge Unido CF™'s Jonatan Labbé played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvino Barreau in the 55th minute of play. When Jonatan Bascuñán came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Don Jorge Unido CF™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Bascuñán couldn't finish the play. Guanequilca FC's Amancio Frick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andolín Lavanderos in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Andolín Lavanderos put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amancio Frick. In the 64thth minute of the game Andolín Lavanderos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guanequilca FC's Amancio Frick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andolín Lavanderos in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amancio Frick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Andolín Lavanderos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Frick was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 73 minutes into the match, Don Jorge Unido CF™'s Andolín Lavanderos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Frick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Don Jorge Unido CF™ booed when Guanequilca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ireno Antoncich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Frick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reces Montaner, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Amadeo Rivadeneira got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience was convinced that Andolín Lavanderos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Frick was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Andolín Lavanderos scored 7-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Frick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Bermejo Pavon notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Guanequilca FC's Amancio Frick. Amancio Frick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th match minute, Guanequilca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mónico Pasenau to maneuver through the defense. José Antonio Echaiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Frick having to interfere. Silvino Barreau charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvino Barreau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Don Jorge Unido CF™ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
