Ruyman Campino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Galdos in the 27th minute of play. Topocho Porras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Widberg having to interfere. Miguel Marti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruyman Campino having to interfere. Ilalla FC's Menéndez Portolés got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
