SANEANDO EL CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RKO AFC the free kick. After having played for 41 minutes, Ernie Kenney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RKO AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernie Kenney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 played minutes SANEANDO EL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Mesina. After having played for 47 minutes, Salvador Huaiquiman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANEANDO EL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Huaiquiman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernie Kenney to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Ernie Kenney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Marcelo Peebles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ernie Kenney's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Marcelo Peebles was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, RKO AFC's Celedonio Fenner got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SANEANDO EL CLUB's zone, Ernie Kenney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Marcelo Peebles came out of the goal and Ernie Kenney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SANEANDO EL CLUB's José Marcelo Peebles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernie Kenney in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to RKO AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ernie Kenney hit a great ball. Fernando Felo made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Iván Luis Feldman sent off a good shot on target. When Madeo Nadal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, RKO AFC's Madeo Nadal got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Loreto Carte made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ernie Kenney. Carlos Manuel Katalinic didn't quite understand what happened when in the 89 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 93rd minute, Celino Pretot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
