After a defensive mix-up in SANEANDO EL CLUB's zone, Domenico Adams stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Marcelo Peebles came out of the goal and Domenico Adams tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Edmundo Galindo came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the BARUTA FC. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Galindo couldn't finish the play. Juan Miguel Waddington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. José Marcelo Peebles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Adams in the 34th minute of play forced SANEANDO EL CLUB's goalkeeper José Marcelo Peebles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celino Pretot kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ezmundo Porras was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. BARUTA FC.'s Edmundo Galindo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half BARUTA FC. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iván Luis Feldman was the one to do the kick off. Domenico Adams recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domenico Adams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Ascue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yeray Echazarreta hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. BARUTA FC.'s Ezmundo Porras shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by José Marcelo Peebles but with some difficulty. Niguel Segura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iván Luis Feldman, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66thth minute of the game Iván Luis Feldman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BARUTA FC.'s Niguel Segura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, BARUTA FC.'s Domenico Adams sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Marcelo Peebles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute Iván Luis Feldman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niguel Segura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domenico Adams struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. José Marcelo Peebles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BARUTA FC.. When the match was over BARUTA FC. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SANEANDO EL CLUB throughout the match.
