The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anselmo Iturralde to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in RKO AFC's zone, Anselmo Iturralde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Felo came out of the goal and Anselmo Iturralde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Cayo Feo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. COLO-COLO's Elías Dittmann shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fernando Felo but with some difficulty. If Carlos Manuel Katalinic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Ernie Kenney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RKO AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernie Kenney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Carlos Manuel Katalinic made a precise shot to the right of Rigoberto Barcelo. COLO-COLO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Åke Uggla hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, COLO-COLO's goal looked a bit too open when Ernie Kenney came free, but Rigoberto Barcelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RKO AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
