In the 10th minute, Vladimiro Sanchez made a precise shot to the right of Ferdinando Palone. Roque AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ferdinando Palone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Sanchez in the 15th minute of the match. Roque AFC's Ferdinando Palone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Brereton in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Ferrando Nebel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Campo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Santiago's Vladimiro Sanchez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinando Palone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvino Landaeta hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Roque AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvino Landaeta to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinando Palone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Brereton, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ferdinando Palone came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by El Fortín de Santiago's Ben Brereton. But to his dismay, Ben Brereton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After the first half El Fortín de Santiago were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferrando Nebel made a kick off. If Tinguaro Sojo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 53 minutes of play, El Fortín de Santiago's Rufino Manzur made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinando Palone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ben Brereton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Palone having to interfere. Ferdinando Palone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Brereton, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Vladimiro Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Santiago's Vladimiro Sanchez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinando Palone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Roque AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tinguaro Sojo was slow to take the kick. During this time El Fortín de Santiago's players had a chance to rest. El Fortín de Santiago's Tinguaro Sojo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferdinando Palone in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. El Fortín de Santiago's Vinicio Campo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvino Landaeta in the 79th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play Roque AFC's Leopoldo Letelier was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Roque AFC's Leopoldo Letelier got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ben Brereton in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinando Palone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roque AFC's Ferdinando Palone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Roque AFC from getting a goal against them. El Fortín de Santiago played a much better game than Roque AFC and deserved their victory. The Roque AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
