Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gugu Tande started the match with the kick off. Jose Ramon Makaus took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ceferino Lizondo. Ceferino Lizondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ceferino Lizondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gugu Tande's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gugu Tande in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceferino Lizondo saved Mullure AFC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Gugu Tande put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ceferino Lizondo. The Holmes FC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Holmes FC's Gugu Tande looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victoro Collados recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gugu Tande took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ceferino Lizondo. Ceferino Lizondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gugu Tande in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceferino Lizondo saved Mullure AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Tande in the 29th minute of play forced Mullure AFC's goalkeeper Ceferino Lizondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mullure AFC defense, Victoro Collados kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceferino Lizondo. The Mullure AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceferino Lizondo should have stopped the shot. After 39 minutes of play, Holmes FC's Gugu Tande made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ceferino Lizondo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute Gugu Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Lizondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceferino Lizondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimeno Burgos was the one to do the kick off. Gugu Tande might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceferino Lizondo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gugu Tande ran back to his position shaking his head. Ceferino Lizondo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gugu Tande sent off a good shot on target. Ceferino Lizondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Ayala in the 56th minute of play. After 57th play minutes Gugu Tande shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Ceferino Lizondo and just under the crossbar into goal. Marc Aspillaga made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mullure AFC's Eleuterio Abasolo. A collision led to Mullure AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Edilberto Toro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mullure AFC's zone, Jose Ramon Makaus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Lizondo came out of the goal and Jose Ramon Makaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 minutes of play, Holmes FC's Gugu Tande made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ceferino Lizondo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fidel Barahona was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Ceferino Lizondo, was totally fooled by Holmes FC's Donato Polhemus, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ceferino Lizondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gugu Tande's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tor Orella during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute of the match Antonio Ayala sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ceferino Lizondo skillfully saved the ball. Ceferino Lizondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gugu Tande's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Antonio Ayala took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ceferino Lizondo. Ceferino Lizondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Gugu Tande put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Ceferino Lizondo. Holmes FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
