Vicens Ansieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Berecedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Luciano Berecedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOBOLOCO FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Berecedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luciano Berecedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicens Ansieta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Vicens Ansieta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Berecedo's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute, Basilio Wheeler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abner Lepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vicens Ansieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Macaria F.C's zone, Luciano Berecedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicens Ansieta came out of the goal and Luciano Berecedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the game, Roldán Alfaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
