After 5 minutes of play, Holmes FC's Victoro Collados made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zebulón Galeno was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 8 played minutes Licanray got a freekick which was hit by Quique Floto. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Licanray's goalkeeper Zebulón Galeno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Antonio Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Holmes FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Donato Polhemus hit a great ball. Antonio Ayala took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zebulón Galeno. Zebulón Galeno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Tande in the 25th minute of play forced Licanray's goalkeeper Zebulón Galeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Ramon Makaus took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zebulón Galeno. Zebulón Galeno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Licanray's Oliverio Winter broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Zebulón Galeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Ramon Makaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Holmes FC's Brecht Symons got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Licanray players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Holmes FC were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quique Floto to strike the kick off in the second half. Zebulón Galeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 56th match minute, Licanray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quique Floto to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes Holmes FC got a freekick which was hit by Victoro Collados. If Quique Floto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zebulón Galeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Ayala in the 62nd minute of the match. With his leg Zebulón Galeno managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Holmes FC's Jose Ramon Makaus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jose Ramon Makauss short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Zebulón Galeno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Licanray's Zebulón Galeno got control of the ball when Jose Ramon Makaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casimír Ulloa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Ayala took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zebulón Galeno. Zebulón Galeno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 83 minutes into the match, Licanray's goalkeeper Zebulón Galeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Ayala. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gugu Tande in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zebulón Galeno saved Licanray from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Licanray's Enrique Bertiz got a free kick in the 85th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Licanray's goal looked a bit too open when Victoro Collados came free, but Zebulón Galeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Holmes FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Holmes FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
