The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Maffet got free with Tanio Guardia in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfonso Maffet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Tanio Guardia made a huge save. If Antonio Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Bartolomé Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elear Cuadrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elear Cuadrado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomé Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Maffet in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanio Guardia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the game, Constancio Humeres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Victoro Collados might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tanio Guardia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Holmes FC had played much better football throughout.
