Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicodemo Lillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rollo Jaime kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Rollo Jaime hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pachama's Arnaldo Daudet got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 11 played minutes, 1868's Rollo Jaime shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leoncio Barrenechea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 1868 reached it. Máximo Baesler was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Teofilio Macuer. 16 minutes into the game, Oscar Ruiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1868's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pachama the free kick. In the 16th minute, Oscar Ruiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leoncio Barrenechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrico Cavada in the 25th minute of play. Remigio Garzón might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Máximo Baesler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remigio Garzón ran back to his position shaking his head. After 32 minutes, Nicodemo Lillo made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pachama's Leoncio Barrenechea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rollo Jaime in the 36th minute of play forced Pachama's goalkeeper Leoncio Barrenechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leoncio Barrenechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodemo Lillo in the 40th minute of the match. Nicodemo Lillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Leoncio Barrenechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pachama's zone, Rollo Jaime stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leoncio Barrenechea came out of the goal and Rollo Jaime tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1868's Nicodemo Lillo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute of the match, Josías Ruiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Máximo Baesler saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Malherbe made a kick off. If Henrico Cavada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Schroeders kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Rollo Jaime, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicodemo Lillo got free with Leoncio Barrenechea in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rollo Jaime might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leoncio Barrenechea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rollo Jaime ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Nicodemo Lillo put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Leoncio Barrenechea. Máximo Baesler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Aramburu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Pachama's Leoncio Barrenechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrico Cavada in the 77th minute of play. Máximo Baesler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Malherbe in the 84th minute of the match. Apolo Galdames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leoncio Barrenechea having to interfere. Leoncio Barrenechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodemo Lillo in the 91st minute of play. When the match was over 1868 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pachama throughout the match.
