Demetrio Huaiquiman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerónimo Gebhard in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zavier Phillips in the 4th minute of play forced Zuniga's goalkeeper Demetrio Huaiquiman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Reinaldo Pallauta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Sacatuwea's goal looked a bit too open when Josías Oquendo came free, but Luis Javier Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elodio Valverde hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sacatuwea's Zavier Phillips slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demetrio Huaiquiman. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. Zuniga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerónimo Gebhard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Javiero Cantuarias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luis Javier Loyola came out and tried to block the shot, but Javiero Cantuarias slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, Nauzet Matute reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luis Javier Loyola. The goal made the score 3-4. Luis Javier Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javiero Cantuarias, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Nauzet Matute charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nauzet Matute the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Demetrio Huaiquiman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zuniga were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Sacatuwea's much stronger midfield.
