The Mariachi FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Mariachi FC's Jeraldo Duñabeitia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Añasco during the 10th minute. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Rainerio Tassara sped through Union Española's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Natalio Duarte. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

In the 52nd minute Abelardo Esquerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rainerio Tassara in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Natalio Duarte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Abelardo Esquerra ran back to his position shaking his head. Rainerio Tassara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Natalio Duarte made a huge save. In the 99th minute, Nafarroa San Miguel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Union Española fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mariachi FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
