The Galles FC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Galles FC's Ruperto Arratia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ruperto Arratia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanío Vos de Vos having to make a save. Ernesto Durango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Alviña in the 24th minute of play forced FC Barcelona B's goalkeeper Epifanío Vos de Vos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Galles FC's Ronaldo Alviña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanío Vos de Vos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Narciso Keuter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Oester having to interfere. Karim Catrileo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes FC Barcelona B got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Vildosola. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Arratia in the 46th minute of play forced FC Barcelona B's goalkeeper Epifanío Vos de Vos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Galles FC were awarded a corner. Cristiano Marco went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Galles FC's corner Cristiano Marco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Epifanío Vos de Vos quite easily take care of the ball. The FC Barcelona B players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Galles FC were winning 0-1.

57 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona B's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Alviña came free, but Epifanío Vos de Vos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Oester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Vargas in the 59th minute of the match. Epifanío Vos de Vos made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Ruperto Arratia sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Karim Catrileo managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barcelona B's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Catrileo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Oester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Karim Catrileo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Oester was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. FC Barcelona B's Epifanío Vos de Vos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Durango in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona B's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Alviña came free, but Epifanío Vos de Vos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ruperto Arratia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galles FC's Roman Oester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Catrileo in the 86th minute of play. Karim Catrileo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Oester having to interfere. A collision led to Galles FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Cristiano Marco hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Galles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Catrileo came free, but Roman Oester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Oester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Catrileo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Ronaldo Alviña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanío Vos de Vos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
