After 14 played minutes Lanceros FC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Mac Rae. Aristeo Potts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stig Malmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdul Valdelomar having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the game, Juan Ignacio Bugueño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Abdul Valdelomar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the game, union española s.a.'s Stig Malmgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdul Valdelomar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Juan Ignacio Bugueño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Abdul Valdelomar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdul Valdelomar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Malmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Lanceros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Malmgren came free, but Abdul Valdelomar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Stig Malmgren succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. If Juan Ignacio Bugueño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdul Valdelomar made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Stig Malmgren sent off a good shot on target. Ignacio Droste hit a great ball. union española s.a.'s Fidel Bruggink suffered a concussion after 93 minutes and had to leave the field. When Israel Villarreal fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanceros FC's protests and gave Israel Villarreal a yellow card for diving instead. Abdul Valdelomar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig Malmgren went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. union española s.a.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
