Epifanío Vos de Vos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Norte. Atlético Norte's Aldo Dibarrart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Catrileo in the 14th minute of play. Epifanío Vos de Vos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Izarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Karim Catrileo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Juan Antonio Cifra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanío Vos de Vos came out of the goal and Adrián Izarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrián Izarra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Fernando Soza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanío Vos de Vos having to interfere. Adrián Izarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrián Izarra struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrián Izarra couldn't finish the play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cresenciano Landea to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Filiberto Oñez y Loyola could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Epifanío Vos de Vos however easily saved by the left post. Juan Antonio Cifra kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Adrián Izarra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Epifanío Vos de Vos came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrián Izarra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 59th minute. Cresenciano Landea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Epifanío Vos de Vos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Igor Tassara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, FC Barcelona B was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Oñez y Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanío Vos de Vos having to interfere. When Atlético Norte's Cresenciano Landea in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Barcelona B's goalie prevented a goal. 86 minutes into the match, Karim Catrileo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Atlético Norte's Aldo Dibarrart. Aldo Dibarrart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eduardo Vargas scored 4-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Dibarrart, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filiberto Oñez y Loyola who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Epifanío Vos de Vos when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
