FC Barcelona B's Epifanío Vos de Vos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Barrales in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Esquerra in the 8th minute of play forced FC Barcelona B's goalkeeper Epifanío Vos de Vos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Barcelona B booed when Union Española was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nafarroa San Miguel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Union Española's Constantino Barrales sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanío Vos de Vos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isidoro Ralph's late challenge caught a FC Barcelona B's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Ralph helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Barcelona B booed when Union Española was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 75th minute Narciso Keuter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Ralph was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 97 played minutes Union Española got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Ralph. If Karim Catrileo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Union Española players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Barcelona B.
