If Stig Malmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stig Malmgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Bravo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Juan Ignacio Bugueño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Claudio Bravo made a huge save. Stig Malmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Bravo having to interfere. The tension between the union española s.a. and the Deporte Provincial Osorno players grew even worse after the yellow card.
