The referee ignored Mariachi FC's protests and gave Cristiano Ayala a yellow card for diving instead. Cristiano Ayala hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Israel Villarreal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mariachi FC's Anfilogino Fantini didn't even have to move. The supporters of Lanceros FC booed when Mariachi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yonko Krashevski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdul Valdelomar made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Zavier Reveco sent off a good shot on target. Saverio Potts hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lanceros FC's Diego Armando Hiriart got a free kick in the 26th minute. Marcel Danitz made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cristián Bascur. Abdul Valdelomar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Abdul Valdelomar came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mariachi FC's Marcos Arbieto. But to his dismay, Marcos Arbieto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Yonko Krashevski took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Abdul Valdelomar to make any attempt to save it. Oliverio Enríquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Abdul Valdelomar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Marcos Arbieto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zavier Reveco made a kick off. Saverio Potts charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Potts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 54 minutes into the game, Mariachi FC's Zavier Reveco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdul Valdelomar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The supporters of Mariachi FC booed when Lanceros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Potts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdul Valdelomar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mariachi FC. After some careless play in the Lanceros FC defense, Jeraldo Duñabeitia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdul Valdelomar. The Lanceros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdul Valdelomar should have stopped the shot. After having played for 71 minutes, Zavier Reveco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariachi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zavier Reveco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Mariachi FC's Zavier Reveco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdul Valdelomar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Saverio Potts kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Zavier Reveco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdul Valdelomar skillfully saved the ball. Abdul Valdelomar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mariachi FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
