Heliodoro Wiltich's late challenge caught a Mariachi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heliodoro Wiltich helped the player get up and apologised. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zavier Reveco was the one to do the kick off. Sabri Bony made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zavier Reveco in the 51st minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Mariachi FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Little Foxes:s goal. Rainerio Tassara hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Little Foxes's Sabri Bony played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Ayala in the 75th minute of play.
