Spectators: 8519 (Terracing: 6390, Seating: 1959, VIP seats: 170) Liverpool's Hugo Duro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, PROTON F.C.'s León Carbonell threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maurino Alderete, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 12 minutes into the game, PROTON F.C.'s Maurino Alderete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. León Carbonell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, PROTON F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Felipo Manzano came free, but Reinaldo Urbina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19thth minute of the game Maurino Alderete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liverpool's León Carbonell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 minutes, Maurino Alderete made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Liverpool's León Carbonell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute Maurino Alderete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but León Carbonell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Urbina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abuzer Gündoğan went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Hugo Duro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 28 minutes of play, Liverpool's Felipo Manzano made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinaldo Urbina was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th match minute, Liverpool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abuzer Gündoğan to maneuver through the defense. León Carbonell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurino Alderete in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abuzer Gündoğan in the 34th minute of play forced PROTON F.C.'s goalkeeper Reinaldo Urbina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinaldo Urbina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipo Manzano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo Urbina came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool's Hugo Duro. But to his dismay, Hugo Duro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 40 minutes into the match, PROTON F.C.'s Aníbal Veliz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that León Carbonell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, PROTON F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Duro came free, but Reinaldo Urbina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. León Carbonell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurino Alderete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo Urbina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abuzer Gündoğan in the 46th minute of the match. Reinaldo Urbina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abuzer Gündoğan in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurino Alderete to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Abuzer Gündoğan made a precise shot to the right of Reinaldo Urbina. PROTON F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. PROTON F.C.'s Reinaldo Urbina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save PROTON F.C. from getting a goal against them. Reinaldo Urbina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abuzer Gündoğan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the PROTON F.C. defense, Abuzer Gündoğan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reinaldo Urbina. The PROTON F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinaldo Urbina should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Abuzer Gündoğan notched a goal, 2-8, to the right of PROTON F.C.'s Reinaldo Urbina. Reinaldo Urbina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the match, PROTON F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Duro came free, but Reinaldo Urbina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, PROTON F.C.'s Reinaldo Urbina got control of the ball when Felipo Manzano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Maurino Alderete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but León Carbonell was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Abuzer Gündoğan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Reinaldo Urbina made a huge save. After 95 minutes of play, Liverpool's Felipo Manzano made it 2-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinaldo Urbina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Liverpool's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
