After 12 minutes, Maurino Alderete made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Valpo UXX's Carlo Matetich tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Maurino Alderete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlo Matetich. Valpo UXX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurino Alderete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Maurino Alderete might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlo Matetich. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maurino Alderete ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlo Matetich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurino Alderete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Maurino Alderete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PROTON F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurino Alderete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Maurino Alderete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valiente Passalacqua to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Valpo UXX's zone, Maurino Alderete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Matetich came out of the goal and Maurino Alderete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlo Matetich came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by PROTON F.C.'s Luis Alberto Ponce. But to his dismay, Luis Alberto Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Maurino Alderete sped through Valpo UXX's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlo Matetich. Maurino Alderete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when PROTON F.C.'s Maurino Alderete in the 61st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Carlo Matetich was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Valpo UXX through an amazing save. After 62nd play minutes Carlo Báez shot 0-10, a short shot which went by Carlo Matetich and just under the crossbar into goal. Maurino Alderete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Matetich having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Aníbal Veliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. PROTON F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Aníbal Veliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Matetich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maurino Alderete did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-11 to the left of a surprised Carlo Matetich 70 minutes into the match. Enric Blanch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlo Matetich read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Carlo Matetich was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maurino Alderete showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 76 minute of play. Carlo Matetich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurino Alderete's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Carlo Matetich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurino Alderete in the 82nd minute of the match. Aníbal Veliz scored 0-13 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlo Matetich, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, PROTON F.C.'s Aníbal Veliz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlo Matetich. Carlo Matetich yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. Maurino Alderete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Carlo Matetich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over PROTON F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Valpo UXX throughout the match.
