Savier Arco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Quintero in the 27th minute of the match. Elbrus Li took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Sánchez came free, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Savier Arco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaitano Valdovinos in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Gaitano Valdovinos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexis Sánchez to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Scapini in the 54th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalkeeper Savier Arco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Cobresal got a corner. Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dino Scapini ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cobresal's Arneil Kurth was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Savier Arco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 57th minute, Alexis Sánchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cobresal's zone, Duardo Pascuala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea came out of the goal and Duardo Pascuala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cobresal's Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Sánchez in the 60th minute of play. Savier Arco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaitano Valdovinos in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Alexis Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
