After 11 played minutes esabumaschu got a freekick which was hit by Angelillo Finlay. esabumaschu's Vasco Quijada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Quintero in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, one of esabumaschu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vasco Quijada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Quintero in the 21st minute of play. Gregorio Quintero might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vasco Quijada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Quintero ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Quintero in the 23rd minute of play forced esabumaschu's goalkeeper Vasco Quijada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Adalberto Monasterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Scapini took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vasco Quijada. Angelillo Finlay hit a great ball. When Cobresal's Gregorio Quintero in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye esabumaschu's goalie prevented a goal. Vasco Quijada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Quintero's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The esabumaschu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cobresal were winning 0-5.

Vasco Quijada was a little too slow when Gregorio Quintero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-6. After 60 minutes, Gregorio Quintero made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. esabumaschu's Vasco Quijada tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the esabumaschu defense, Gregorio Quintero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vasco Quijada. The esabumaschu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vasco Quijada should have stopped the shot. After 68 minutes, Dino Scapini made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. esabumaschu's Vasco Quijada tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cobresal's Kenny McCormick was substituted for Danilo Diaz de Valdes. When Gregorio Quintero came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Cobresal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Quintero couldn't finish the play. Angelillo Finlay made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cobresal's Adalberto Monasterio. After a defensive mix-up in esabumaschu's zone, Gregorio Quintero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Quijada came out of the goal and Gregorio Quintero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Gregorio Quintero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vasco Quijada, 0-12.
