A very good chance. 19 minutes in the game, Madeo Benoit fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Baltazar Angel having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, VALENZUELA FC's goalkeeper Baltazar Angel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Madeo Benoit. 22 minutes into the match, Floydianos's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Pacho came free, but Laurín Vicentens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lois Pezoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Pacho in the 30th minute of play forced Floydianos's goalkeeper Laurín Vicentens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match VALENZUELA FC got a corner. Floydianos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristián Álvarez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Taurino Tellerias thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Laurín Vicentens, a very annoying self made goal in the 40th minute which led to 1-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Pacho to make the kick off. Baltazar Angel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madeo Benoit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Vivanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltazar Angel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Vivanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Vivanco in the 62nd minute of play forced VALENZUELA FC's goalkeeper Baltazar Angel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, VALENZUELA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Madeo Benoit came free, but Baltazar Angel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Vivanco hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ernesto Pacho struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Madeo Benoit took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltazar Angel. Baltazar Angel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Hólm Alfreðsson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind VALENZUELA FC's goalkeeper Baltazar Angel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Floydianos booed when VALENZUELA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Brieba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Madeo Benoit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Angel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Floydianos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of VALENZUELA FC for a fine match.
