The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Drahoslav Putna came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Legion 501st's Adelino Menares. But to his dismay, Adelino Menares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 7 played minutes Legion 501st got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Bulboa. The audience was convinced that Quim Larrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christiano Koehler was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Simon Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Christiano Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Alvarez in the 16th minute of play forced Legion 501st's goalkeeper Christiano Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christiano Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Legion 501st getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Celedonio Abrahamsohn hit a great ball. León Telaeche took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christiano Koehler. Christiano Koehler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 29 played minutes, TAVHIK FC's Bogdan Gornishki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christiano Koehler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TAVHIK FC reached it. In the 31st minute of the match Simon Alvarez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christiano Koehler skillfully saved the ball. In the 32nd minute Omar Fadda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drahoslav Putna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adelino Menares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Simon Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TAVHIK FC were furious when Quim Larrea was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 73rd match minute, TAVHIK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenón Colipi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 80 minutes, Simon Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TAVHIK FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christiano Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. TAVHIK FC made a substitution. Angelino Oviedo replaced León Telaeche. In the 86th minute of the match TAVHIK FC got a corner. Legion 501st's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Simon Alvarez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led TAVHIK FC's Simon Alvarez to fire away a dangerous shot which Christiano Koehler despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Juan Alfonso Grille sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Menares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Drahoslav Putna made a huge save. If Simon Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Legion 501st players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
