With his leg Mauricio Aránguiz managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Real Santiago's Aureo Sandoval fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 6thth minute of the game Aureo Sandoval who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacaya AFC's Mauricio Aránguiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alejandro Seme came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Sacaya AFC's Lucero Marrodan. But to his dismay, Lucero Marrodan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Sacaya AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jose Manuel Andolini hit a great ball. Mauricio Aránguiz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Quintán Torrijos. After a defensive mix-up in Sacaya AFC's zone, Aureo Sandoval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Aránguiz came out of the goal and Aureo Sandoval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Quintán Torrijos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Santiago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quintán Torrijos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauricio Aránguiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Pulgar in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Real Santiago's Quintán Torrijos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Aránguiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Real Santiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khalida Soltani to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match Francisco Miguel Galdames shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejandro Seme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Aureo Sandoval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureo Sandovals short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Mauricio Aránguiz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Santiago's Dionisio Pulgar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauricio Aránguiz. That made the score 2-1 after 30 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Santiago's Quintán Torrijos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauricio Aránguiz. That made the score 3-1 after 34 minutes of play. Quintán Torrijos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mauricio Aránguiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Tolek Jaszyna notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Sacaya AFC's Mauricio Aránguiz. Mauricio Aránguiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Sacaya AFC booed when Real Santiago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureo Sandoval didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aureo Sandoval got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Real Santiago.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucero Marrodan was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sacaya AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Mauricio Aránguiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureo Sandoval's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Aureo Sandoval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Aránguiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Real Santiago were awarded a corner. Quintán Torrijos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Aureo Sandoval got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 6-1. 60 minutes into the match. Mauricio Aránguiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Pulgar in the 64th minute of play. Mauricio Aránguiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintán Torrijos, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Aureo Sandoval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Santiago fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Aureo Sandoval put it in 8-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mauricio Aránguiz. Sacaya AFC's Mauricio Aránguiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Pulgar in the 77th minute of play. Pol Pomar hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureo Sandoval in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Aránguiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Quintán Torrijos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Real Santiago's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Miguel Galdames came free, but Alejandro Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Aránguiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureo Sandoval, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The Real Santiago fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Real Santiago's Aureo Sandoval looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Real Santiago walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
