Lucero Marrodan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jonatán Escalona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatán Escalona in the 16th minute of play forced Sacaya AFC's goalkeeper Mauricio Aránguiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jonatán Escalona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sacaya AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Pol Pomar hit a great ball. After 28 minutes, Jonatán Escalona made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sacaya AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA 90 the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duardo Otero was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonatán Escalona in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Aránguiz saved Sacaya AFC from getting behind. When Jose Warnes came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the LA 90 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Warnes couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, LA 90's Roberto Gibbs got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 63 played minutes Sacaya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Miguel Galdames. 64 minutes into the game, Jonatán Escalona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Mauricio Aránguiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonatán Escalona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mauricio Aránguiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatán Escalona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sacaya AFC's Mauricio Aránguiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatán Escalona in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jonatán Escalona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Aránguiz was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The corner led LA 90's Maxín Peralta to fire away a dangerous shot which Mauricio Aránguiz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mauricio Aránguiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenico Wilkenson went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Sacaya AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
