The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenico Wilkenson helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes Pucarani got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Wilkenson. If Gustavo Canales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jonatán Escalona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonatán Escalona scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Morandé, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonatán Escalona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnaldo Morandé. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. When Domenico Wilkenson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 18 minutes had been played. Domenico Wilkenson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Urrutia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ruperto Bettini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, Jose Warnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pucarani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 32nd match minute, Pucarani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentino Argandoña to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reyes Felis during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Pucarani got a freekick which was hit by Jonatán Escalona. In the 45th minute, Jose Warnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pucarani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

Jonatán Escalona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Morandé having to interfere. Alfonso Portales kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Pucarani's Ruperto Bettini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Canales in the 59th minute of play. When Pucarani's Jose Warnes in 61 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Arnaldo Morandé guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 66 minutes of play, Pucarani's Jose Warnes made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Morandé was left in no man's land by his defense there! VERDE NILO made a substitution. Román Potts replaced Carlos Saúl Arens. Arnaldo Morandé made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatán Escalona in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Pucarani's Ruperto Bettini got control of the ball when Nastasio Page tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 played minutes Pucarani got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Gibbs. Arnaldo Morandé took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Warnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruperto Bettini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Urrutia, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Pucarani were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of VERDE NILO for a fine match.
