Teodoro Wickel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pucarani's Jonatán Escalona shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Savier Olavarría recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicodemo Taylor charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicodemo Taylor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Pucarani got a freekick which was hit by Nicodemo Taylor. After 16 minutes of play, Pucarani's Jose Warnes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Wickel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Jonatán Escalona notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Club Universidad Chile XO's Teodoro Wickel. Teodoro Wickel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Universidad Chile XO's Teodoro Wickel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Warnes in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Chile XO's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatán Escalona came free, but Teodoro Wickel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pucarani's Jonatán Escalona got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Club Universidad Chile XO's zone, Jonatán Escalona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Wickel came out of the goal and Jonatán Escalona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Club Universidad Chile XO defense, Jonatán Escalona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Wickel. The Club Universidad Chile XO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Wickel should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Pucarani's Maxín Peralta got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Elias Walton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonatán Escalona to make the kick off. With a little luck, Club Universidad Chile XO's Teodoro Wickel got control of the ball when Jose Warnes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute Jose Warnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Wickel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Jonatán Escalona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pucarani's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatán Escalona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Wickel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the game, Eduardo Aliste was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Universidad Chile XO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pucarani the free kick. A collision led to Club Universidad Chile XO getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Eduardo Aliste hit a great ball. The long shot by Maxín Peralta in the 64th minute really tested Teodoro Wickel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Teodoro Wickel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatán Escalona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Universidad Chile XO's Saúl Lacunza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Reyes Felis, made in the 73rd minute of the game. 75 minutes into the game, Nicodemo Taylor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Teodoro Wickel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute of the match, Jose Warnes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teodoro Wickel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Teodoro Wickel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatán Escalona, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Warnes got free with Teodoro Wickel in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Teodoro Wickel managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Pucarani's Jonatán Escalona fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nicodemo Taylor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teodoro Wickel came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicodemo Taylor slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 86th minute. Jonatán Escalona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Club Universidad Chile XO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pucarani were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
