In the 3rd minute Carlos Saúl Marzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Parrau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Parrau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Saúl Marzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Carlos Saúl Marzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonatan Parrau was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Carlos Saúl Marzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Parrau having to interfere. Lorenzo Celedón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jerzy Kapera made a huge save. Pedro Tomás Monroy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Copaquire's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Tomás Monroy came free, but Jonatan Parrau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes, Mario Lemos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Copaquire and the Sotaqui FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute of the match Evaristo Fenieux shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonatan Parrau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Sotaqui FC's Pedro Tomás Monroy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonatan Parrau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Copaquire's Jonatan Parrau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Saúl Marzi in the 51st minute of play. Jerzy Kapera came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Copaquire's Lorenzo Celedón. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Celedón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jerzy Kapera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Celedón in the 56th minute of the match. Jonatan Parrau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Saúl Marzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Pedro Tomás Monroy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jonatan Parrau made a huge save. Mario Lemos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Copaquire's Jonatan Parrau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Copaquire from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Sotaqui FC's Carlos Saúl Marzi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonatan Parrau. That made the score 1-2 after 79 minutes of play. Sotaqui FC's Jerzy Kapera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Celedón in the 85th minute of play. Jerzy Kapera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Celedón's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When the final whistle sounded Sotaqui FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Copaquire.
