Spectators: 7328 (Terracing: 6328, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sporting quilpue's Nauzet Delano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Sporting quilpue got a freekick which was hit by Nauzet Silva. 6 minutes into the game, Sporting quilpue's Nauzet Delano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siluna San Miguel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 11 played minutes, Sporting quilpue's Enric Olaso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Siluna San Miguel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting quilpue reached it. Paulín Burgos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Evar having to interfere. Marcelo Suloaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siluna San Miguel having to interfere. Elias Evar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlondón Mac Millan in the 22nd minute. José Alejandro Huaiquipan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Elias Evar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute of the match, Orlondón Mac Millan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elias Evar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 29th minute, José Alejandro Huaiquipan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Evar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlondón Mac Millan in the 31st minute. Sal Tarin took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siluna San Miguel. Siluna San Miguel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 40 minutes, Sal Tarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting quilpue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sal Tarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 42 played minutes U de Chile got a freekick which was hit by Pau Phillips. Orlondón Mac Millan might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Evar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlondón Mac Millan ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Sporting quilpue's Elias Evar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Alejandro Huaiquipan in the 53rd minute of play. Elias Evar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlondón Mac Millan in the 58th minute of play. Siluna San Miguel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sal Tarin went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 62 played minutes, Sporting quilpue's Arnoldo Campo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Siluna San Miguel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting quilpue reached it. After a defensive mix-up in U de Chile's zone, Nauzet Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siluna San Miguel came out of the goal and Nauzet Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Siluna San Miguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nafarroa Galindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sporting quilpue getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Nestor Federigo hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Sporting quilpue's goal looked a bit too open when José Alejandro Huaiquipan came free, but Elias Evar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlondón Mac Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siluna San Miguel came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting quilpue's Nauzet Delano. But to his dismay, Nauzet Delano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 85th minute, José Alejandro Huaiquipan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Herzell kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
