After the first half TPSOCCER were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as TPSOCCER's Tancredo Giron slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saturnino Birila. That made the score 0-7 after 79 minutes of play. 84 minutes into the match, Universidad Catolica's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Pedemonte came free, but Saturnino Birila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Cresenciano Raglianti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Saturnino Birila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
