Vladimiro Buchanan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Tauro Bonilla charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tauro Bonilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Futbol Rebelde's Tauro Bonilla got a free kick in the 19th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Modesto Gartsman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tudor Vrednic to make any attempt to save it. 33 minutes into the game, HellFire FC's Prudencio Gomesano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herminio Piorno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ricardo Bochini made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Prudencio Gomesano immediately put the ball in play. Tauro Orellana hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Abelado Camara struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Herminio Piorno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HellFire FC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelado Camara to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Antonio Bezanilla hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The supporters of Futbol Rebelde booed when HellFire FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Antonio Bezanilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Bochini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Piorno having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio de Barros in the 90th minute of play forced HellFire FC's goalkeeper Tudor Vrednic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Buchanan's late challenge caught a Futbol Rebelde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimiro Buchanan helped the player get up and apologised. Vladimiro Buchanan hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Futbol Rebelde fully deserved thier win.
