To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sporting quilpue getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. José Luis Quiero hit a great ball. The supporters of Sporting quilpue booed when HellFire FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Gomesano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting quilpue's Nauzet Delano got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelado Camara to strike the kick off in the second half. Nafarroa Galindo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes, HellFire FC's Prudencio Gomesano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elias Evar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HellFire FC reached it. After having played for 60 minutes, Sal Tarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting quilpue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sal Tarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, HellFire FC's Ismael Menart got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd play minute Nauzet Delano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tudor Vrednic. 1-2. After 67 played minutes, HellFire FC's Ricardo Bochini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elias Evar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. HellFire FC's Tudor Vrednic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nauzet Delano in the 77th minute of play. If Tauro Orellana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Juan Antonio Despouy with Ricardo Bochini as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Elias Evar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelado Camara's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Tudor Vrednic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nauzet Delano, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Tudor Vrednic was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Nauzet Delano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nauzet Delano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3.
