Fan Xing Cheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Herminio Piorno made a huge save. Herminio Piorno was a little too slow when Sentis Ciblis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Fan Xing Cheng who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Herminio Piorno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Herminio Piorno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fan Xing Cheng in the 17th minute of play. After 19th play minutes Fan Xing Cheng shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Herminio Piorno and just under the crossbar into goal. Fan Xing Cheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Herminio Piorno made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fan Xing Cheng in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Piorno saved Futbol Rebelde from getting behind. Herminio Piorno stood somewhat misplaced when Fan Xing Cheng came free in front of goal and shot 5-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. When Costa Pacífico FC's Fan Xing Cheng in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Futbol Rebelde's goalie prevented a goal. Herminio Piorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fan Xing Cheng in the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Futbol Rebelde's Nunez Fliz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Sentis Ciblis took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herminio Piorno. Herminio Piorno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 47th minute, Fan Xing Cheng fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Herminio Piorno, passed just outside the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fan Xing Cheng was the one to do the kick off. Herminio Piorno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fan Xing Cheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fan Xing Cheng in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Piorno saved Futbol Rebelde from getting behind. The corner led to Costa Pacífico FC's Frank Rijkaard getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 66th minute, Fan Xing Cheng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herminio Piorno was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Futbol Rebelde's Herminio Piorno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fan Xing Cheng in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Fan Xing Cheng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Herminio Piorno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juan Antonio Gabella kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Bengtsson in the 76th minute of play forced Futbol Rebelde's goalkeeper Herminio Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Piorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sentis Ciblis in the 86th minute of the match. Mateo Pedraza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costa Pacífico FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
