Codruț Paraschivescu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. A collision led to Huite FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Remicio Major hit a great ball. Lester Blanc kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Codruț Paraschivescu saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. If Arnau Ochoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codruț Paraschivescu in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaitán Döner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Huite FC's Arnau Ochoa got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Universidad Catolica's Codruț Paraschivescu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Saturnino Birila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnau Ochoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Universidad Catolica's Codruț Paraschivescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaitán Döner. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnau Ochoa in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Birila saved Universidad Catolica from getting behind. In the 47th match minute, Universidad Catolica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel das Neves to maneuver through the defense.

With his leg Saturnino Birila managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Huite FC's Arnau Ochoa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Arnau Ochoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huite FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnau Ochoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Birila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Universidad Catolica had won after a very even match.
