Siluna San Miguel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-10 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Algarrobo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-15. Siluna San Miguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Marchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlondón Mac Millan in the 79th minute of play forced Algarrobo's goalkeeper Everardo Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siluna San Miguel made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Jimeno Carrera sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the game, Algarrobo's Juan Ignacio Vera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When Paulín Burgos fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U de Chile's protests and gave Paulín Burgos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, U de Chile's Paulín Burgos got a free kick in the 96th minute. After 97 minutes of play, Algarrobo's Diego Armando Lamb made it 0-19 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Siluna San Miguel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Algarrobo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U de Chile throughout the match.
