Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eduardo Vargas took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes of play, Curicó-Unido's Elías Albornoz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaitán Döner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaitán Döner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Román Hoefler, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Visen Mattensohn made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Huite FC's Valentín Quintero. Huite FC's Gaitán Döner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Vargas in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Elías Albornoz made a precise shot to the right of Gaitán Döner. Huite FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Hipolito Angeloni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaitán Döner was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Gaitán Döner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Vargas went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Eduardo Vargas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaitán Döner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Axel Elgueta got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hipolito Angeloni. Gaitán Döner came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Curicó-Unido's Román Hoefler. But to his dismay, Román Hoefler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Eduardo Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gaitán Döner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaitán Döner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Angeloni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Huite FC's goal looked a bit too open when Román Hoefler came free, but Gaitán Döner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Román Hoefler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaitán Döner. Huite FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Román Hoefler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Gaitán Döner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elías Albornoz in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute Eduardo Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaitán Döner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnau Ochoa to strike the kick off in the second half. Curicó-Unido's Eduardo Vargas got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaitán Döner was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Eduardo Vargas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eduardo Vargas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Huite FC's Gaitán Döner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Huite FC from getting a goal against them. Gaitán Döner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Angeloni in the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elías Albornoz in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaitán Döner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the game, Román Hoefler recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaitán Döner. Román Hoefler showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Curicó-Unido's Francisco Ignacio Valdés was substituted for Axel Elgueta. In the 71st minute, Eduardo Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Curicó-Unido's Orlondón Marileo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gaitán Döner. Gaitán Döner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. In the 80th minute, Román Hoefler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curicó-Unido fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. In the 86th minute, Hipolito Angeloni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaitán Döner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Huite FC's Gaitán Döner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elías Albornoz in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Huite FC defense, Román Hoefler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaitán Döner. The Huite FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaitán Döner should have stopped the shot. Gaitán Döner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Poulus Massoc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 minutes of play, Curicó-Unido's Hipolito Angeloni made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaitán Döner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Curicó-Unido's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
