When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Joe Uytterhaegen sped through Universidad Católica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rareș Necula. In the 6th minute Anacleto Mascayano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rareș Necula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th play minute Joe Uytterhaegen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rareș Necula. 2-0. Rareș Necula made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Joe Uytterhaegen sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Joe Uytterhaegen notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Universidad Católica's Rareș Necula. Rareș Necula was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute, Joe Uytterhaegen made a precise shot to the right of Rareș Necula. Joe Uytterhaegen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Rareș Necula made a huge save. With a little luck, Universidad Católica's Rareș Necula got control of the ball when Joe Uytterhaegen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rareș Necula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joe Uytterhaegen in the 33rd minute. If Remicio Amaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Juan Carlos Cid hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Ovalle City's Joe Uytterhaegen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rareș Necula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. 70 minutes into the match, Universidad Católica's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Uytterhaegen came free, but Rareș Necula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintén Arciego in the 85th minute of play forced Universidad Católica's goalkeeper Rareș Necula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Manuelo Macuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovalle City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
