The tension between the Desclava Zinc FC and the Universidad Católica players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Desclava Zinc FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Przemyslaw Mroczynski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano de Toledo in the 12th minute of play forced Universidad Católica's goalkeeper Rareș Necula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Polloni kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Desclava Zinc FC's Teodosio Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuelo Macuer in the 18th minute of play. Rareș Necula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano de Toledo in the 22nd minute of the match. Desclava Zinc FC's Teodosio Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remicio Amaya in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Valdo Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuelo Macuer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Universidad Católica's Remicio Amaya in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Desclava Zinc FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Desclava Zinc FC's Przemyslaw Mroczynski got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Remicio Amaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodosio Ascencio having to make a save. Desclava Zinc FC's Przemyslaw Mroczynski got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Przemyslaw Mroczynski off the ground. The supporters of Universidad Católica booed when Desclava Zinc FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Mroczynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 40th minute, when Universidad Católica's Federico Polloni after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Teodosio Ascencio in Desclava Zinc FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Mario Arechavala made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Federico Polloni however managed to control. With his leg Teodosio Ascencio managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Universidad Católica's Remicio Amaya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano de Toledo to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remicio Amaya in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Ascencio saved Desclava Zinc FC from getting behind. Teodosio Ascencio came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Universidad Católica's Remicio Amaya. But to his dismay, Remicio Amaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mario Arechavala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Ascencio having to interfere. Manuelo Macuer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71stth minute of the game Remicio Amaya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desclava Zinc FC's Teodosio Ascencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodosio Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuelo Macuer in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Remicio Amaya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desclava Zinc FC's Teodosio Ascencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Mario Arechavala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desclava Zinc FC's Teodosio Ascencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodosio Ascencio came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Universidad Católica's Remicio Amaya. But to his dismay, Remicio Amaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Teodosio Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remicio Amaya in the 87th minute of play. Valdo Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rareș Necula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodosio Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remicio Amaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96th play minutes Remicio Amaya shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Teodosio Ascencio and just under the crossbar into goal. Many of Desclava Zinc FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Desclava Zinc FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Universidad Católica were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
