Pepe Maralla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Pawel Siedlecki made a huge save. In the 15th match minute, Ovalle City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezmundo Gundelach to maneuver through the defense. When Hualqui's José Ignacio Rengifo in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. José Ignacio Rengifo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pawel Siedlecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play.
