Joe Uytterhaegen scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ysidro Colimán, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anacleto Mascayano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Deportes Vαldiviα getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Diego Peragallo hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Joe Uytterhaegen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ysidro Colimán. The goal made the score 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Ovalle City's Osman Ayvazoğlu got a free kick in the 54th minute. Pawel Siedlecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Ortega in the 56th minute. Pawel Siedlecki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rolando Ortega showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 59 minute of play. But to his dismay, Eufrasio Najera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4.
