The Ornitorrincos F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 11th minute, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Guillermo Arregui dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Pedro Manuel Zuburu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabino Calvo in the 14th minute of the match. Lester Clavijo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manuel Zuburu came out and tried to block the shot, but Lester Clavijo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 15th minute. When Araucampeón Retirado's Halil Okaner in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gustaw Pysz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Halil Okaner's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Araucampeón Retirado's goalkeeper Pedro Manuel Zuburu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raymundo Carilao. Raymundo Carilao took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manuel Zuburu. Pedro Manuel Zuburu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 45th match minute, Ornitorrincos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoel Melipil to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the game, Lester Clavijo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manuel Zuburu. Lester Clavijo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon-Ander Echeverría in the 53rd minute of play forced Araucampeón Retirado's goalkeeper Pedro Manuel Zuburu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Araucampeón Retirado's Tiago Azevedo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Pedro Manuel Zuburu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Arregui in the 67th minute of the match. Araucampeón Retirado's Pedro Manuel Zuburu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Arregui in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Ornitorrincos F.C. booed when Araucampeón Retirado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Ornitorrincos F.C. were the better team. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
