Ricard Dell´Orto came out of the goal and Leonel Swinburn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Radomir Mleczewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricard Dell´Orto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Radomir Mleczewski struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ricard Dell´Orto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincente Ducoing got free with Ricard Dell´Orto in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 12 minutes Matancillos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipo Knauer who took care of the corner kick. Radomir Mleczewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Grégoire Scorţea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Felipo Knauer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Matancillos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Ricard Dell´Orto had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Radomir Mleczewski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's Franco Pascual pulled a muscle in his leg after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leoncio Fridman during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's Rafael Puente was substituted for Franco Pascual. After a rather tough play, Matancillos FC's Leoncio Fridman got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's Radomir Mleczewski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricard Dell´Orto. Ricard Dell´Orto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radomir Mleczewski in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricard Dell´Orto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the game, one of Matancillos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Vivar made a kick off. The C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's Radomir Mleczewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 59 minutes into the game, Radomir Mleczewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Ricard Dell´Orto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Radomir Mleczewski sped through Matancillos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricard Dell´Orto. After 65 minutes, Chronis Bekyros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol and the Matancillos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Matancillos FC booed when C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chronis Bekyros didn't get a good kick on the ball. When C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's Radomir Mleczewski in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Radomir Mleczewski put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ricard Dell´Orto. The C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's Alexandro Arteaga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th minute, Christiano Anaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricard Dell´Orto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomir Mleczewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
