Shohoku FC's Gabriel Voineag proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Shohoku FC from getting a goal against them. Lander Alejo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Gabriel Voineag skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juan Alfonso Bastidas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gabriel Voineag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Shohoku FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bairon Rechivichi to maneuver through the defense. Lander Alejo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabriel Voineag came out and tried to block the shot, but Lander Alejo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. Parque Arrau FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. İlbey Tunçdağ ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gabriel Voineag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efraín Moyano in the 94th minute of play. Ján Oblak made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Mark Javia sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the game, Juan Alfonso Bastidas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Gabriel Voineag was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Parque Arrau FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Shohoku FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
