In the 4thth minute of the game Apolo Irigoyen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlanticalvos FC's Tales Neiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Gibson to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Vicente Squella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johny De Raeijmaecker's late challenge caught a Atlanticalvos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johny De Raeijmaecker helped the player get up and apologised. Johny De Raeijmaecker hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Czeslaw Gurgul, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tales Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Irigoyen in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Irigoyen in the 20th minute of play forced Atlanticalvos FC's goalkeeper Tales Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tales Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Irigoyen, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Apolo Irigoyen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tales Neiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. General Velásquez's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Renato Goycolea in the 31st minute. Tales Neiva came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella. But to his dismay, Jorge Vicente Squella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tales Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Vicente Squella in the 40th minute of the match. Henry Tucknott made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Czeslaw Gurgul sent off a good shot on target. After the first half General Velásquez were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Apolo Irigoyen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Atlanticalvos FC's Tales Neiva got control of the ball when Apolo Irigoyen tried to sneak it across the goal line. General Velásquez's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Renato Goycolea in the 52nd minute. Lino Padilla tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Tales Neiva. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-3 in the 53rd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Atlanticalvos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Irigoyen came free, but Tales Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Renato Goycolea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Tales Neiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Renato Goycolea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tales Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tales Neiva made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Jorge Vicente Squella sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Cardoso hit a great ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Apolo Irigoyen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlanticalvos FC's Tales Neiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. General Velásquez were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Atlanticalvos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Renato Goycolea took the corner. 85 minutes into the match, Atlanticalvos FC's goalkeeper Tales Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Vicente Squella. 92 minutes into the game, General Velásquez's Apolo Irigoyen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tales Neiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. If Apolo Irigoyen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
