In the 12th minute of the match, Vincente Ducoing got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arkın Taşboğa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hermelando Peebles struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Arkın Taşboğa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.D. y S. After some careless play in the C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol defense, Emiel Pinksteren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Topolski. The C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Topolski should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's Arkın Taşboğa threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hermelando Peebles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 31 minutes into the game, one of AFC Richmond:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. AFC Richmond's Arkın Taşboğa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Richmond from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Willy Píriz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Marian Topolski. 43 minutes into the match, C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's goal looked a bit too open when Willy Píriz came free, but Marian Topolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arkın Taşboğa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grégoire Scorţea in the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, AFC Richmond's Silvio Amor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marian Topolski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Héctor David Martinez hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A hard shot 58 in the game by Dino Yanque from a close distance when the talented Marian Topolski managed to make a qualified save. C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's players were relieved. Marian Topolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willy Píriz in the 60th minute of the match. Arkın Taşboğa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grégoire Scorţea in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Richmond's zone, Grégoire Scorţea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arkın Taşboğa came out of the goal and Grégoire Scorţea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th match minute, AFC Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Celada to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's goalkeeper Marian Topolski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xavier Marholz hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Marholz didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's Marian Topolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Yanque in the 74th minute of play. AFC Richmond were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dino Yanque took the corner. After taking down the ball on AFC Richmond's corner Dino Yanque fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marian Topolski quite easily take care of the ball. Remicio Price hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Vincente Ducoing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkın Taşboğa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marian Topolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willy Píriz in the 81st minute of the match. Grégoire Scorţea took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkın Taşboğa. Arkın Taşboğa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, AFC Richmond's Remicio Price got a free kick in the 97th minute. After having played for 98 minutes, Alexandro Arteaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandro Arteaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AFC Richmond had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
