Hijos del Sol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Luís Oliveira scored to the left of an out of position Marian Topolski, making the score, 0-1. 74 minutes into the match, C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's goal looked a bit too open when Yerko Maloku came free, but Marian Topolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomir Mleczewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol made a substitution. Lolo Lavandero replaced Robustiano Olate. After a rather tough play, C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's Felipo Knauer got a free kick in the 78th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Yerko Maloku dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marian Topolski, 0-2. When Radomir Mleczewski fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D. y S. Hijos del Sol's protests and gave Radomir Mleczewski a yellow card for diving instead. Radomir Mleczewski kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Shohoku FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Shohoku FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
